We’re looking for a QA Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead all quality assurance efforts across the organization while staying hands-on with both manual and automated testing. You’ll define testing strategies, guide and support the QA team, and work closely with R&D and product teams to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software
In this role, you are responsible for
- Define quality metrics, testing strategies, and best practices to uphold software quality standards.
- Guide, mentor, and coordinate the QA team in their day-to-day activities, ensuring efficient test execution.
- Actively participate in manual and exploratory testing while ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with QA automation to define, review, and improve automated testing processes and frameworks.
- Work closely with development and product teams, providing timely and accurate testing updates and escalating critical issues as needed.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects while collaborating with developers for resolution.
- Continuously enhance QA infrastructure, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and test effectiveness.
- Create and maintain well-structured test plans, cases, and reports.
- Perform thorough regression testing to validate bug fixes and prevent recurring issues.
- Represent the QA function in company meetings, ensuring quality remains a top priority in all development cycles.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field – an advantage
- 8+ years in software quality assurance, including at least 3 years in a QA leadership/management role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Expertise in writing clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing and familiarity with automation frameworks and tools
- Working experience with Postman and Playwright tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive projects forward.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing startup environment, adapting to evolving priorities and business needs.
- English proficiency.
