We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation processes that support the development and deployment of 4Cast’s software solutions. This role ensures system reliability, performance, and scalability by managing CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with development teams, and optimizing cloud-based environments. The DevOps Engineer plays a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting a seamless software delivery lifecycle.
In this role, you are responsible for
- Design and implement infrastructure and tooling to support the delivery of software
- Build and maintain the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling supporting 4Cast’s platform and environments
- Automate software delivery processes and improve development workflows through scalable CI/CD practices
- Manage cloud environments, system configurations, and infrastructure automation to support reliable and efficient operations
- Monitor production systems, investigate issues, and proactively improve system performance, stability, and availability
- Work closely with development teams to support deployments, troubleshoot technical issues, and streamline release processes
- Improve operational resilience, security, scalability, and observability across the platform and engineering environments
- Continuously identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve reliability, and optimize infrastructure operations
To succeed in this role, you’ll need
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps or related role
- Relevant DevOps or infrastructure experience gained during military service or in defense environments, including work on complex, high-availability, production systems – strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based environments
- Knowledge of modern deployment technologies (e.g., containers, microservices)
- Deep understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-driven and highly motivated
- Strong problem-solving abilities and independence in work
- English proficiency
