We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, reliable, organized, and dedicated Bookkeeper to join us part-time (60%). You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our financial operations across our entities in Israel. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a growing company.
In this role, you are responsible for
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Conduct reconciliations of the company’s bank accounts and credit card activities
- Manage accounts payable, including new vendor creation and processing AP invoices
- Verify and reconcile invoices, manage month-end and mid-month payment cycles
- Report VAT and vendor tax withholding to Israeli authorities
- Prepare payroll and related reports, including governmental and regulatory filings
- Assist with financial report preparation, audits, and the quarterly closing process as needed
To succeed in this role, you’ll need
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper in startup companies – mandatory
- Certified Bookkeeper (minimum Level 2) – mandatory
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken – mandatory
- Experience with Priority accounting system – mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to details
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with implementing accounting tools – an advantage
