The R&D PMO is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring development activities across the R&D department. This role ensures alignment between development efforts and business priorities, tracks progress toward release milestones, and facilitates communication between technical and non-technical teams. The R&D PMO works closely with the CTO and relevant stakeholders (development, QA, Product, Business) to manage schedules, assess risks, and support timely and high-quality software deliveries.

This position is a long-term maternity leave cover (year+) with potential for extension.

In this role, you are responsible for

  • Coordinating development activities, schedules and resources
  • Collaborating with CTO to plan R&D activities and provide weekly updates on the progress
  • Measuring and monitoring progress to achieve a timely software release within defined timelines and defined quality standards
  • Communicate development tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams
  • Coordinating processes between teams involved in development (within and outside R&D)
  • Conducting release readiness and milestone reviews, as part of development cycles (sprints)
  • Managing schedules for every core development (features/user stories) and ensuring it aligns with business goals and organizational prioritization
  • Managing the development of deliverables into production environments
  • Assessing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules

To succeed in this role, you’ll need

  • BSc / B.Tech in Industrial Engineering & Management or other relevant field
  • +2 years of work experience in Project Management, Release Management or equivalent within R&D teams – a must
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles – a must
  • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
  • Team player, self-driven and motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Details oriented, highly organized and able to multitask
  • English professional proficiency
