The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation processes that support the development and deployment of 4Cast’s software solutions. This role ensures system reliability, performance, and scalability by managing CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with development teams, and optimizing cloud-based environments.
In this role, you are responsible for
- Design and implement infrastructure and tooling to support the delivery of software
- Manage and automate the build, test, and deployment processes (CI/CD)
- Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of our systems
- Collaborate with developers and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems
To succeed in this role, you’ll need
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps or related role
- Relevant DevOps or infrastructure experience gained during military service or in defense environments, including work on complex, high-availability, production systems – strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based environments
- Knowledge of modern deployment technologies (e.g., containers, microservices)
- Deep understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-driven and highly motivated
- Strong problem-solving abilities and independence in work
- English proficiency
